Every day across the country, lives are saved and families are restored through the miracle of donation and transplantation. Even so, more than 10,000 Texan men, women, and children wait for their second chance at life.
Who Will You Run For?
LifeGift invites you to spend a morning celebrating the gift of life.
The 2nd Chance Run (walk or run) hosted by LifeGift honors organ, eye, and tissue donors in 109 Texas counties in North, Southeast, and West Texas. While celebrating the lives saved and offering hope to those still waiting, the event raises awareness of the need for organ, eye, and tissue donation across the state.
All registrations include:

Custom 2nd Chance Run Medal
Race Bib and *Timing Chip (*5K Participants Only)
Race Swag Bag
Entry to our Race Village which includes a fun Kids Zone, food, facepainter, hero-themed stiltwalkers, and more!
Dogs on leashes are welcome! Water bowls and dog biscuits provided!
