Figurative sculpture class working from the life model
Held in the school room at Bath Artists’ Studios
£330 per term includes all materials and model
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Come along for a creative afternoon of figurative sculpture. Over the term you will create two sculptures working directly from the life model. Small class size of 12 students. This popular sculptrue group has been running for 25 years and exhibits every summer.
Life sculpture offers a challenge and an immersive and therapeutic experience. It is not as difficult as everyone things and you will produce a sculpture unique to you and in your own style.
We have a large and well equipped school room with sculpture stands and a place for your sculpture to be stored between sessions. Armatures and stands will be supplied, please bring along your favorite tools. Sculptures may be fired for an extra fee of £20.
In the middle of the evening there will be a friendly tea break in the common room. This class will carry on throughout the year and students can join the monthly sculpture club held at weekends.
LOCATION
The School Room, Bath Artists Studios, The Old Malthouse, Comfortable Place, Bath BA1 3AJ. This is a tight turning off Upper Bristol Road, half way between the Hop Pole and Charlotte Street.
PARKING
Unfortuanately we do not offer parking at the studios
PAYING FOR THE COURSE
You can pay by bank transfer when term starts in either one or two installments.
JOINING THE WAITING LIST
If the class is already full, please join the waiting list as places often come up just before term starts.
