Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 22, LIFE@Lynchburg will be collecting items for the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Items can be dropped off at our check-in table every Wednesday through the end of our semester on Nov. 19.The most-needed items are:
• Canned fruits and vegetables (low sugar/sodium)
• Proteins: nut butters, canned tuna/chicken, canned or dry beans
• Grains: cereal, pasta, rice, oatmeal, mac & cheese
• Meal makers: soups, stews, chilis, pasta sauce (low sodium)
• Cooking oils, dried herbs, and spices
• Non-food items: toilet paper, toothpaste, soap, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, baby formula, diapers, baby food
Note: NO GLASS ITEMS, PLEASE!
