The topic
Buddha said, ‘You should know all phenomena are like dreams.’ In saying this, Buddha was explaining the connection between our mind, our world, and the experience we have of it. Few people understand the role our mind plays in our daily experience. In truth all our happiness, sadness, joy and fears depend upon the mind. If we think deeply about this, we will understand how we can cease all worries and problems simply by abandoning negative states of mind; and we can cause all pleasant things that we desire to arise simply by developing a pure and positive mind. On this retreat discover how it’s possible to completely transform our mind and therefore our life!
The Teacher
Kadam Mick Marcon is the Resident Teacher at Khedrubje Kadampa Buddhist Centre and has been practising meditation and Buddhism since 2004. With his clear understanding of Buddha’s teachings and down-to-earth manner, Kadam Mick inspires us to develop a pure and happy mind.
