This special experimental Life Drawing session invites you to explore the Spanish culture though their typical dance, Flamenco.
Our model who is a Flamenco dancer will bring you the amazing art of Flamenco through dance and posing in various positions for you to sketch. Note *This is not a naked session drawing.
Our Model will use complements typical in Flamenco dance, such a mantón (flamenco shawl), flowers and a fan.
All levels are welcome! Just come and enjoy.
The Art Session:Flamenco Sketches: In the first part of the session, we will have various poses from 5 minutes to 20 minutes. In the second part of the session, attendants will practice in pairs drawing each others portraits to continue to develop skills and creativity.
The event will last 1.5 to 2 hours approx.
This session is guided by Laura Gonzalez, who is a Spanish creative - Painter, Illustrator, Tattoo artist and has been a flamenco dancer for many years.
Materials: We provide Size A4 Drawing Boards, Normal A4 paper, charcoals, pencils, blending stumps and markers. Feel free to bring your own materials if you wish.
