About this Event
Join us for a 10:55 start this November for an inspiring talk by Peter Cullum, co-founder of Sunday Assembly NE Lincs, and a true storyteller with a unique perspective.
Peter is a CODA – Child of Deaf Adults – and was raised by his deaf parents while navigating the world as a hearing child. In this heartfelt talk, Peter will share touching and humorous stories about growing up between two worlds. Most of all, he'll reflect on the enduring optimism of his 91-year-old father, whose attitude toward life continues to inspire those fortunate enough to know him.
This is a talk about resilience, family bonds, and the power of positivity. Don’t miss the chance to hear Peter’s extraordinary journey, and be uplifted by the life lessons he’s learned along the way.
In addition to this interesting talk, we'll be singing along to some fabulous pop songs, then heading into the lovely Showroom cafe bar for a catch up over coffee and cake (other food and drink available)!
We're an inclusive, friendly bunch of people and everyone is welcome to join us!
