About the instructor, Lauren Radick:
Lauren Radick is a dynamic literature instructor who brings books vividly—and irresistibly—to life. Through her signature series, The Life and Times of Literary Favorites, she explores the dramatic personal stories, creative inspirations, and cultural forces that shaped the authors we think we know, inviting audiences to step beyond the page and into the worlds that gave rise to their most enduring works.
Known for her engaging, story-driven approach, Lauren creates lively, discussion-based experiences where literature feels immediate, human, and deeply relevant. Her lectures blend biography, history, and close reading, revealing the emotional lives, relationships, and defining moments behind great works of literature.
Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Literature from Emerson College and a master’s degree in Education from The George Washington University. She brings both narrative flair and thoughtful insight to her teaching, illuminating the lives behind the works so that both authors and their stories feel personal, human, and profoundly connected to our own experiences.
