About this Event
Life After Loss: Rebuilding Identitiy, Meaning, and joy
Join us in person for a heartfelt event where we explore how to rebuild your identity, find new meaning, and rediscover joy after loss. It's a supportive space to share, heal, and connect with others navigating similar journeys. Come as you are and take a step toward brighter days!
Part 1: When Loss Changes Everything
Grief can shake the foundation of who we are. In this session, we explore the emotional and psychological impact of loss — the confusion, the loneliness, and the feeling that life no longer looks the way we planned. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how grief affects identity, relationships, and daily life, while learning why these reactions are normal and part of the healing process.
Part 2: Rebuilding Who You Are
After loss, many people find themselves asking: Who am I now? This session focuses on rediscovering identity and navigating the changes that grief brings. We will explore how our values, priorities, and sense of self can evolve after loss, and how rebuilding identity is not about “moving on,” but about integrating the past while allowing space for new meaning and growth.
Part 3: Creating Meaning and Joy Again
Finding joy after loss can feel complicated, and many people struggle with guilt or uncertainty about embracing life again. In this session, we explore how meaning, connection, and hope can re-emerge over time. Participants will learn ways to honor their loved one while also creating a future that includes new experiences, relationships, and moments of happiness.
