Licking County Humane Society's J.T. Callander Bright Spot Clinic is a drop-in veterinary wellness clinic for pet-owners in the unsheltered population and income-qualified families, and we're looking forward to expanding our reach to the Buckeye Lake community!
• Licensed veterinarians from LCHS will be providing the services offered
• Essential vaccines, preventative care and wellness exams will be available
Where: Buckeye Lake Recreation Center (118 Third Street, Buckeye Lake, OH 43008)
When: Saturday, June 20th, 2026 | 10AM - 12PM
• No appointment necessary
• First come, first served
• Last check-in will be at 11:30 AM
Who: Dogs and cats | Limit 2 pets per family
• Services are not guaranteed and are subject to clinic capacity, medical eligibility, and staff discretion
• Please note that if you are bringing a dog with a bite history, we will not be able to provide services. Please contact a full-service veterinary clinic or ask us for recommendations; we are more than happy to help!
How: To be seen at our Bright Spot Clinic, clients will either:
1. provide a voucher from a Licking County Humane Society Humane Agent
2. provide proof of income qualification and a government ID
• Please bring one of the following: Section-8 housing voucher, schedule letter from Ohio Works First, Medicaid card, letter of service-related disability from Veteran Benefits Administration, Ohio Discretion Card, Social Security Disability benefit letter, most recent tax return (does not exceed 150% of the federal poverty guidelines)
Donations for the care provided are welcome, but not required.
