The Watkins Glen Public Library's annual book sale will be held on Saturday, August 23rd from 10am-4pm in the Watkins Glen Elementary School's multi-use room. This space will be accessible via the library parking lot. You may also park in the additional school lots.AVAILABLE ITEMS
Adult hardcover and paperback fiction, non-fiction, young adult, and children's books. Puzzles, board games, vinyl records, DVDs, and more! Sale items are a mix of library discards and public donations.
Friends of Watkins Library (FOWL) will offer a special opportunity for early access at 9:00am.
METHODS OF PAYMENT: Cash or check only
BAG SALE: $10 Bag/Box Sale from 3:00pm-4:00pm. Bags/boxes are available, or you may bring your own. No limit on size.
FREE ITEMS FOR EDUCATORS:
Employees of the WGCSD, OMCSD, My Place Daycare, Family Play and Resource Center, and Schuyler Head Start can shop up to 20 items at NO COST. If you are an educator from outside Schuyler County, please speak to a staff member directly and we will try to accommodate. Proof of employment is not required. We work on the honor system!
LITTLE FREE LIBRARIES:
If you are managing a Little Free Library in Schuyler County, you can shop for up to 20 items at NO COST. Again, honor system.
Food truck alert!
Kelly’s Kitchen will be parked at the library during the event. Make sure you grab some of this delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine while you’re here.
