Come and unite with us for a taste of "Liberty Tea"
Join in the celebration of America's 250th Anniversary with an afternoon tea at the historic Catoctin Furnace. Come learn about the original "Tea Party" while sipping on historic tea blends and nibbling patriotic treats. This informative living history lecture will include topics on tea in the colonies, the social impact, and how it brewed a revolution!

This event has been generously organized by Debbie Burke as a fundraiser to support the Catoctin Furnace Historical Society, Inc. We invite you to pair this event with a visit us at the Museum of the Ironworker to explore the history of the village.

Parking:
Please park in the Harriet Chapel Parking lot at 12625 Catoctin Furnace Rd in Thurmont, MD. The Forgeman's house located at 12525 Catoctin Furnace Rd...it is a short, flat, walk up the road. If you require an accessible space that will be avaible at the Forgeman's House.
