Liberty State Park Loop Walk

This is a 7-mile walk through Liberty State Park with great views of the New York skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and birds in tidal flats.

Walk seven miles on a flat paved trail with us.

Start: Front of 9/11 Empty Sky Memorial facing the parking lot across from the Central Railroad Terminal of New Jersey

Finish: Same as start

Distance: 7 miles (except during October through February when we visit the bird sanctuary when it is about 8 miles)

Where to find us: Front of 9/11 Empty Sky Memorial facing the parking lot across from the Central Railroad Terminal of New Jersey

Terrain: Paved trail except in the bird sancturay where there is a boardwalk and sand.

Transit: Hudson Light Rail at Liberty Science Center is about .7 mile from the start.

Parking: Free parking on Freedom Way, $7 parking in Statue of Liberty Ferry lot, or 2-hour free parking adjacent to start.

Difficulty: Easy
