Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the flag that sparked a revolution! 2024 marks the 250th Anniversary of the historic raising of the Liberty & Union Flag in Taunton, MA, one of many events that led to the start of the American Revolution. #Rev250
The would-be revolutionaries gathered in a local tavern the night before the flag raising and let's just say that the good company and lots of ale helped them develop their resolve to defy the Crown! Kick-off Liberty & Union Weekend with us in downtown Taunton as we tour all of the wonderful establishments and enjoy their food & beverage offerings.
What is included?
The $10 fee includes light refreshments at Trescott Street Gallery, a Downtown Pub Crawl stainless steel cup, and raffle prizes at some stops.
How does it work?
Choose your format:
Spend the night touring with one of our Group Leaders
OR pick up a route schedule to tour on your own.
Report to Trescott Street Gallery between 5-6 pm to meet your group and get everything you need for a fun night in downtown Taunton! Enjoy light refreshments and a cash bar. At 6 PM head out for some fun either with one of our Groups or on your own.
Please plan ahead for the Pub Hop by arranging safe transportation home after the event! Reserve an Uber, Lyft or cab ride home, designate a sober driver, or have someone at home on standby to pick you up at the end of the evening. We love our Pub Crawlers and want everyone to make it home safely after a fun night downtown!
Note About the Pub Crawl Cups: Although you may use your cups during the event, per State & City law, CUPS MUST BE EMPTY WHEN MOVING FROM ONE ESTABLISHMENT TO ANOTHER. Also, for sanitary reasons, servers/bartenders cannot serve your drinks directly in the cups. You will need to pour your beverage into the pub crawl cup yourself.
