Bring your lawn chairs and join us for 2 days of weekend fun! Saturday July 25th from 12pm-8pm and Sunday July 26th 3pm-8pm. Grab your weekend pass today! The special ticket price ends July 6th. Free for kids up to age 10.
To kick off the weekend, join us for a FREE event on Friday, July 24th, the Liberian Flag Raising Ceremony being held at Providence City Hall on the 3rd floor in the City Council Chambers. The event will be from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The actual ceremony will take place from 6pm until 7pm. Reserve your free seat today, limited seats available. You can reserve your free seat by clicking the ticket button.
Bring your Liberian flags, wear your Liberian T-shirts or African clothes!
You can register here for the Liberian March for Unity and Progress. It will be held on Friday July 24th start gathering at 4:15pm. Join us, meet us at 41 Fricker St. The march will begin at 5pm and will be completed by 5:30pm arriving at Providence City Hall for the Flag Raising ceremony.
If you intend to come inside the chambers for the flag raising ceremony, reserve your free seat in advance. Limited amount of seats available.
In the area right outside of the chambers, we will have handmade art displayed made by Liberian Artists that are currently in Liberia, from our - Art for Impact Liberia- program. If the chambers are at capacity, guests are more than welcome to be in the hall area watching the flag raising on the TV's displayed there.
The flag raising is schedule to be outside at approximately 7:20pm. All are welcome to gather outside at this time at the City Hall steps to watch the flag be raised.
