LGBTQ+ Zine Making Workshop

Join us for a zine making workshop as part of LGBT History Month!

Short for magazine, zines are a way to share art, spread and preserve information and engage with community. For these reasons, zines have been particularly popular in circles that are generally anti-establishment or anti-capitalist, raising the voices of people who don't have a platform.

They are created through mixed media, folding paper, printing, glueing, drawing, writing or however else you'd like to express.

Leicester Zine Library will show you easy ways to create zines and will have a selection of their 300+ collection of zines for your inspiration.

All materials will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own materials if you already have ideas and resources you'd like to use.
