About this Event

This year’s Preserving Pride event explores the evolution of LGBTQ+ social spaces in Atlanta by examining how these places (bars, clubs, bookstores, community centers, and homes) have fostered freedom, resilience, and activism. Blending storytelling, archival material, and visioning exercises, the event invites participants to both reflect on the past and imagine inclusive queer spaces for the future.
