LGBTQ+ Reading Group 'Pride NOT Prejudice' at Rugby Library

Pride NOT Prejudice is an inclusive space for adults to explore books that are either written by a trans inclusive LGBTQ+ author, or where the story is focused on LGBTQ+ characters. Each month, we’ll read a new book together and meet to discuss it in a relaxed and friendly setting. Books are provided by the library's reading collection and given out at meetings or can be collected from the library beforehand.

The group is open to any adult member of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies.

These sessions are great for:

• Discovering new books and voices from the LGBTQ+ community

• Sharing thoughts and reflections in a safe and respectful environment

• Connecting with others who share an interest in inclusive literature

• Exploring what our libraries offer

Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Date: Third Tuesday of the month

Age: 16+

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
