LGBTQ+ Ice Cream Social

Enjoy an ice cream social in a classic neighborhood setting!

EQUALITY NoVa, the local nonprofit that serves Northern Virginia's LGBTQ+ community, will once again host this signature event ideal for all ages. The location is a charming private residence: 2334 S Meade St. Arlington, off S Arlington ridge near James Haley Park. You are welcome to attend regardless of where you reside.

An ice cream truck will be offering several exciting flavors and toppings, including Rainbow Sprinkles. There will be no sugar added, gluten-free, dairy-free options available. This ice cream social will be a fun Gayborhood gathering.

The ice cream is free for current EQUALITY NoVA members. An optional small donation or EQUALITY NoVa membership is appreciated if you aren't yet an EQUALITY NoVA member. Join EQUALITY NoVA today at https://www.equalitynova.org/membership .

Regardless of where you reside, support this wonderful community organization that serves as a beacon of equality in NoVA.

In addition, as ongoing community service, if you can, please clean out your cupboard of unused nonperishable food items for AFAC (https://www.afac.org), the community leader in providing and promoting dignified access to nutritious food for people in need. This event will serve as a convenient collection point.

How to get there: Be eco-friendly and Metro to either Pentagon City or Crystal City Metro stops and take a bus or Uber from there. There will be free street parking on Meade Street.

EQUALITY NoVa is a strong beacon for equality in Northern Virginia. It's an inclusive nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit open to all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ+) people and straight allies.
