The LGBTQ Day on the Hill provides Iowans with the opportunity to engage directly with lawmakers at a critical time when anti-LGBTQ legislation continues to be introduced. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the legislative process and learn how to advocate for equality and fairness.The event will start with a training session (location TBA), followed by a march to the Capitol. At the Capitol, there will be a rally in the Rotunda. After the rally, participants will meet with their legislators.
