LGBTQ+ Book Club

Our LGBTQIA+ Book Club is a blend of queer folk and allies from the local community who come together on one of the first Tuesdays of each month. We discuss a chosen title while providing a safe space to foster community. We strive to choose quality reads with positive and/or realistic queer representation; though we do recognize that such criteria is subjective to individual taste and experience.
In August we will discuss the novel Woodworking, by Emily St James, "An unforgettable and heartwarming book-club debut following a trans high school teacher from a small town in South Dakota who befriends the only other trans woman she knows: one of her students."
