This is indoor court volleyball. In order to secure the gym, we need at least 12 paid players signed up several days before the event. That means you should make the decision when you receive this invite. Please read this entire description carefully.

1) Overview
This is an LGBTQ+ and allies focused event. We welcome members the LGBTQ community as well as any allies and supporters of our community who would like to come and join in the fun.
Because this is a paid event, there are expectations for skill level.
Skill Expectations: This is a fun, experienced-recreational-level game. Players should already know and try to use the standard volleyball skills — passing with a solid forearm platform (hands together, not separate), setting with hands above the head, and serving to get the ball in play. Perfect form isn’t required, but players should be familiar with the correct techniques and make an effort to use them.
Game Flow: Players should be comfortable rotating, calling the ball, and keeping rallies going. If there is a designated setter, they take the second ball whenever possible unless they call for help — this keeps the game organized and makes rallies smoother. Players should already have experience playing this way.
2) Schedule and Location
The doors to the building will be locked, but someone will be at the door to let you in.
Arrival window: 6:15pm - 6:25pm (10 minutes)
Games Begin: 6:30pm
Court Time: 2.5 hours
Games End: 9:00pm

Parking: in the small lot next to 526 Campbell, on the street, or in the Holy Rosary Credit Union parking lot.
3 ) How to sign up and pay:
Please do these TWO things, in order, one after the other:
A) send $8.00 using your payment app
B) tap GOING on this Facebook event invite.

I will add the words "Event Full" to the title of the event once we are at capacity. You can send me a direct message to be added to the waitlist.
Your reservation cannot be transferred to someone else.
4 ) Communications
Because this event REQUIRES reading, you will need to confirm your reservation:
I will post a list of attendees to the Event page once the event fills up. Read that post, verify it is correct, and then LIKE the post to confirm your reservation.
I will communicate with you by posting to the Event wall, and using Facebook direct messages (all players should be available through messenger). If you don't use Facebook messenger, please provide me with your cell number so I can txt updates to you.
5 ) Cancellation Policy
The goal of the cancellation policy is to minimize the chance of having partial teams, and lessen the work of hosting this event. If you sign up for the event, you agree to these terms.
If you need to cancel, send the host a direct message that says you are cancelling, and change your response from “going” to "not going."
- Your payment is dedicated to cover gym rental costs, and is not refundable.
- You cannot transfer your reservation to another player.
- The earlier you cancel, the more likely we will be able to find a replacement for you (also, I might still give out a refund or partial refund despite the policy).
- If I need to cancel the event, you will get a refund.
