The LexLux Kick Off party is a free, community event to welcome two weeks of illuminations along the Lexington Cultural District from East Lexington to Worthen Road. The LexLux kick off party in Depot Square on (Emery Park) features the creation of a community light sculpture, LED spirograph portraits, animated projection mapping, hot chocolate and a campfire, art activities, and a group drone photo to capture it all!
In advance of the event there will be free lantern-making workshops (on Jan 6-10) run by Munroe Center for the Arts and our partner organizations.
