We're chuffed to welcome Lex back to Newcastle to celebrate the publication of 'Bridget & Gabe are Not Okay'. Talking to Lex about their work is H. F. Askwith whose third novel 'Half A Dark Heart' was released in Januray 2026 to great aclaim.Plot - Tensions are high in Camelot, with Gabriel on the throne and the gang picking up the pieces of a country in turmoil. They set off on a PR tour of Britain, hoping to win over not just the hearts and minds of the kingdom, but to win back each other's hearts as well.Lex’s bio:Lex Croucher grew up in Surrey, reading a lot of books and making friends with strangers on the internet, and now lives in London. With a background in social media for NGOs, they now write historical-ish rom-coms and fantasy for both adults and teenagers. Their debut YA novel, Gwen and Art Are Not in Love, won the YA Book Prize 2024, the Books Are My Bag Readers’ Award for Young Adult Fiction, and was an instant New York Times bestseller.
