About this Event
Welcome to the launch of a new research project mapping resources and services for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Lewisham and Greenwich. Organised by Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) and Greenwich University as part of a national research project funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). We will be running a series of Migrant Community Research Forums in each borough across the next two years. Join us for the launch of the project to find out more.
There are two types of tickets available:
- stakeholder - we're inviting key people working in the fields of health, housing, food and nutrition and access to services to share their knowledge of services for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Lewisham and Greenwich
- lived experiecne - we're inviting people with lived experience of migration to share their knowledge and experiences. We are looking for individuals, aged over 18, who are migrants, refugees, or asylum seekers living in Greenwich or Lewisham, and whose country of origin is Afghanistan, Syria, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Jamaica, Vietnam, Romania or Poland. We will provide a £30 One4All voucher to people with lived experience who attend the full event. This will be provided by text message after the event.
This is also a great networking and learning opportunity - meet stakeholders and service providers from across the two boroughs.
A light lunch will be provided.
Study title: Co-creating asset and place-based approaches to tackling refugee and migrant health exclusion.
Study approved by Greenwich University Research Ethics Committee.
