Lewis Barfoot Swing Quartet

The Lewis Barfoot Swing Quartet returns to the Bulman for their third year as part of Cork-Kinsale Jazz Festival, with a fresh and playful set of classic golden age jazz. At the heart of this quartet is Lewis Barfoot — a London-Irish singer, composer and swing dancer based in Cork. Best known for her spellbinding folk performances (two studio albums, BBC & RTÉ support), Lewis has stepped seamlessly into jazz, winning hearts with her silky-pure vocals, irresistible joie de vivre and playful stage presence. This year she is joined by the masterful J.Q. Whitcomb (USA) on trumpet, Camil Kieylta (Germany) on double bass and Eric Doyle (Ireland) on guitar.
