The Levin Brothers' May tour through the Northeast and Canada wouldn't be complete with a stop in their own 'hood; and what better place than the beautiful Bearsville Theater! In 2014, after decades of recording and touring as sidemen with a virtual who's-who in all genres of music and guesting on each other’s solo projects, Pete and Tony Levin decided to form their own jazz group. Since then the band has toured all over the US, and internationally in Canada, Mexico, El Salvador, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Japan. They've released 4 albums; the self-titled debut album in 2014, "Special Delivery" in 2017, "Live At Daryll's House" in 2021, and "Fade To Blue" in 2022. The band: Bassist Tony (Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Chuck Mangione), keyboardist Pete (Gil Evans, Jimmy Giuffre, Paul Simon, Annie Lennox, Jaco Pastorius), and drummer Jeff "Siege" Siegel (Sir Roland Hanna, Ron Carter, Kenny Burrell, Benny Golson, Frank Foster, Mose Allison) are joined on this tour by the legendary sax player Pat Labarbera (Buddy Rich, Elvin Jones, Woody Herman, Louie Bellson, Carlos Santana)www.thelevinbrothers.com
