She works closely with businesses throughout the region to strengthen their global competitiveness and expand their reach in international markets. With extensive experience in exporting, importing, international business intelligence, and logistics, Mariel is a seasoned authority in global trade.
Keith Schlegel is a Finance Manager for the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Manufacturing and Trade, whose mission is to enhance the ability of small businesses to compete in the global marketplace. Keith works with banks and SBA Resource Partners throughout Wisconsin and Illinois to support small manufacturers and exporters by providing trade assistance, access to capital, and advocacy for small business interests in domestic and international markets.
Ursula Wegrzynowicz, Market Executive, Impello Global Insurance Services, has dedicated her career to guiding companies on best practices to manage international sales risk with the use of trade credit insurance. With more than 25 years of experience in government, EXIM Bank and SBA, as specialty broker and in logistics, she partners with companies to develop successful sales strategies, leveraging the many tools and resources available in the trade finance industry, public and private.
Gayle Roenbaugh (Moderator) is the Director for the Office of Manufacturing and Trade within the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), where she leads a national group of Finance Managers to provide working capital expertise to the lending community for large dollar and complex transactions. Working alongside the SBA Office of Capital Access, she and her team works to plan, develop and modernize the line of credit and international trade programs - including the Working Capital Pilot, the Manufacturers’ Access to Revolving Credit (MARC) initiative, and expansion of the International Trade Loan program.
