Levelling Up: Computer Science
About this Event
Levelling Up: Computer Science is an engaging programme designed to encourage more female, non-binary and female-identifying Year 12 students to explore computer science and consider future study and careers in technology.
Delivered by the University of Bradford with support from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, the programme will combine interactive academic sessions with guidance on university study, applications, student life and careers. Participants will explore contemporary areas of computing, meet current University students and academic staff, and gain an insight into studying computing at university.
The programme aims to build participants’ confidence, broaden their understanding of the opportunities available within computer science, and support their progression into higher education. It is primarily intended for students studying A-level Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
