CFRE credits have been applied for, for both sessions.
The seminar will take place from 11:30 am - 4:00 pm on Monday, September 23, at Seattle Foundation's office in downtown Seattle.
There are two ticket types available:
- $20 ticket - includes lunch
- Free to attend ticket - does not include lunch
You may attend one or both workshops (see agenda for details).
About the workshops

Small Budgets, Big Aspirations

In this session, fundraisers will learn how to take a small planned giving budget and allocate it smartly for best results. You'll also learn how to easily weave planned giving into donor conversations, and evaluate opportunities for accepting non-cash gifts (whether or not your organization has ever accepted them before!).
In our second session, participants will learn more about the rising trend of blended gifts - and how to ask for them with real results. Whether approaching the conversation from a major gift or planned gift perspective, fundraisers of all types will come away understanding and applying the five types of blended gifts, matching those types with a solicitation strategy that makes sense for your donors, preparing a fundraising team for blended gift readiness, and setting concrete goals that will help encourage blended gift solicitation and closure for your whole team.
Together, these two sessions will be a powerhouse of information for those ready to learn more about planned and blended gifts and ensure their organization, regardless of size, has the right capacities in place to successfully fundraise in these areas.

Praise for Lani Starkey
"After Lani spent a half-day training session with my frontline fundraising staff, I surveyed the team to get their feedback on his presentations. The emails that came back from the major gift officers included the words relevant, fresh, strategic, energizing, applicable, validating, and invigorating. In short, Lani is an articulate presenter who is genuine, warm and passionate. Learning from him is receiving tried-and-true knowledge from a professional who has a track record that validates his methods."
