WHO REQUIRES THIS QUALIFICATION?
Any business that uses CCTV to monitor a public space or members of the public will need trained security staff qualified as CCTV operators and holding an SIA licence.
By law, an individual must have a Level 2 award for CCTV operators in the private security industry qualification to apply for an SIA licence to work as a CCTV operator.
