This is an introductory course designed for operators and programmers new to Renishaw spindle probing cycles.
About this Event

Level 1 Probe Training Course

Learn the fundamentals of machine tool probing and enhance the efficiency of your machining centers and lathes. This class will be taught on a Fanuc machine, but 90% of the course is control-agnostic.


This course will cover the following topics:

  • What is a probe and how does it function?
  • How to perform first-time setup on a probe or replace a damaged stylus
  • How to pair and calibrate a probe
  • Calibration types and best practices
  • How and when to configure trigger logic
  • Introduction to Set & Inspect, GoProbe, and Reporter softwares


Earn a Certificate of Completion from Renishaw at the end of the course.



PLEASE NOTE

There are 2 seperate sessions. Please register for the day you prefer as both sessions will cover the same material.
