Due to our smaller, more personalized class sizes, we have combined our Level 1 & Level 2 Obedience programs into one high-value, comprehensive course.
This program is the essential next step in your training journey, designed to build directly on the foundation you and your dog have already worked so hard to create.
Please note: Successful completion of the Alpha Lykos Beginners Obedience program is a strict prerequisite for this course.
Program Overview:
• Duration: 6 weeks
• Frequency: Weekly sessions, each lasting one hour
• Location: Mareeba International Club
• Prerequisite: Completion of Beginners Obedience
What to Expect:
Now that your dog understands the basics, this combined Level 1 & 2 course focuses on refinement, reliability, and real-world control. Over these 6 weeks, we will transition away from constant food rewards and teach your dog to listen out of habit and respect, ensuring they respond to you even when things get tough.
Key Features:
• Advanced Distraction Training: We level up the outdoor challenges at the Mareeba International Club, teaching your dog to choose you over other dogs, people, and enticing scents.
• Precision & Reliability: Work on faster recall (coming when called) and longer, more reliable duration even when you step out of sight or turn your back.
• Teamwork & Focus: This combined level dives much deeper into your bond, teaching your dog to maintain focus on you for extended periods, even in busy public spaces.
