About four miles in total for the out-and-back, or five+ miles for the complete loop, we will meet at Dansbury Park in East Stroudsburg.
The Levee Loop Trail is a 5 mile trail that connects East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg. The trail follows the flood levee along scenic Brodhead Creek. The main trailhead is in Dansbury Park. The trail crosses through Yetter Park, Creekview Park, and Stokes Mill Park. With its proximity to town and flat terrain, the Levee Loop provides a convenient way to escape into nature.
On this walkabout, we will either do the complete loop or instead make it an out-and-back along the east side of the creek. Let's see how we feel and how the weather holds up.
