As the year comes to an end, people across the country are getting ready to celebrate new beginnings. However, many celebrations unintentionally cause discomfort or even danger to others. Loud noises, uncontrolled fireworks, sky lanterns, and unsafe rooftop activities can create serious stress for infants, elderly people, hospital patients, and even wildlife. Densely populated areas are especially at risk of fire and accidents.
To promote a safer and more responsible way of celebrating, we urge everyone to avoid these risky activities and to find joy in ways that do not compromise anyone’s safety or well-being.
