About this Event

About this event

Join us for a calm and reflective painting workshop focused on slowing down, quieting the mind, and enjoying the simple act of making.

Using gentle, expressive brushstrokes, participants will be encouraged to let the movement of the brush guide the process rather than focusing too much on the final result. From these spontaneous marks, a peaceful landscape will gradually begin to emerge.

As the composition develops, we will add layers, texture and subtle details to create depth and atmosphere, while keeping the overall image simple and balanced. Throughout the session, participants will be invited to paint with presence, embrace imperfection, and allow each brushstroke to become part of the creative journey.

To complete the artwork, we will paint a circle around the landscape inspired by the traditional Chinese 禅宗 Zen ensō (圆相). Traditionally associated with harmony, wholeness and the present moment, the circle offers a gentle reminder that the process of creating can be just as meaningful as the finished piece.

This workshop is suitable for beginners, and no previous painting experience is required.
