About this Event
Whether you’re starting a patio garden, a backyard bed, or a few pots on the porch, this class will give you the skills, tools, and knowledge to grow with success.

🌿 WHAT YOU’LL LEARN
During this interactive workshop, you’ll learn step‑by‑step:
• How to transplant a vegetable plant the RIGHT way
• How to prepare soil, measure depth, and place fertilizer
• How to water properly
• How to prune for upward growth
• How to prevent disease by keeping leaves off the soil
• How to choose the correct pot size and depth
• How to place your plants for the best sunlight
• How to companion plant for bad pest control and good pest attraction
• How to use natural pest deterrents
• Q&A time for your personal garden questions
This is a true hands‑on class — you’ll be learning, doing, and taking home your own plant.
🌱 WHAT’S INCLUDED
Every participant receives:
• A live pepper plant to transplant and plastic apron
• Soil and compost as needed to layer up 10 gallon pot
• Fertilizer for the transplant hole
• Mulch
• Access to water for proper demonstration
• A laminated soil‑depth ruler (created by me!)
• A live demonstration + guided practice
• Beginner gardener Q&A session
You BRING 10 gallon plant pot. If it needs holes and is not ceramic, we can put the holes in it. You BRING your garden gloves, hand trowel( small hand shovel), and the desire to. GET GROWING !!!
