Friend of Fortnum’s Tom Parker Bowles will be joining us in our Food & Drink Studio this month as host of our Kitchen Stories series, where he’ll be sharing more about his brand new book Let's Eat Meat: Recipes for Prime Cuts, Cheap Bits and Glorious Scraps.
Tom Parker Bowles is an English author and food critic. He began his career writing for Tatler before contributing a weekly column to Live Magazine in The Mail on Sunday. A restaurant critic and regular contributor to major publications, he has also presented food TV programmes and written numerous books.
Eat meat, but eat less and eat better - that is the philosophy behind Tom’s new book Let's Eat Meat. This isn’t about rejecting steaks, fried chicken or slow‑cooked classics - you’ll find all those here. But the book also explores dishes where meat plays a smaller role, from bean stews brightened with chorizo to meals using scraps for depth. Tom champions eating less but better meat, rooted in global traditions where meat is a luxury.
