Join us for a 45-minute guided meditation & gentle flow yoga followed by 45-minute guided visioning activity. Participants let go of internal “chatter” about the past and future to arrive at a fully present state before calling in intentions that will serve them in the new year then share insights at the end of the session.Surrendering to Possibility
There is no “one-right-way” for creating a vision board but this approach is founded on the idea that we sometimes need to let go of our rational mind, exposed through words and language, to become open to the wisdom of our intuition. When we let go of our desire to consciously force a result, we call in a picture of the future, allowing it to emerge intuitively rather than willing it into existence.
When it comes to creating a vision, it is important to free your imagination, giving yourself permission to wonder and explore; surrendering to the possibilities that arise when you do.
In combination with a guided meditation, including gentle flow yoga, this approach gently “shushes” our rational inner critic and allows our intuitive mind – the one that carries our scared creative gifts – to take the lead.
Vision boards are multi-media works of art that incorporate materials of personal significance and serve as a reminder of the intentional work undertaken during the workshop.
