Please join us for an intimate evening honoring the power of correspondence.
Some amazing letter writers, readers, & epistolary works will be there:
Anna Sullivan, artist, writer and slow life movement leader with Pidge Post’s Community Mailbox – an interactive social experiment for writing letters to strangers.
Andy Chan, Seattle non-profit Books to Prisoners’ director, who will be reading letters from prisoners.
Moira Macdonald, Seattle Times arts critic, will read from her debut novel Storybook Ending (Penguin Random House, 2025) about how an anonymous note left in a book changes lives.
Judy Bentley, author and Seattle-based historian, will read from her latest book 25 Sugarland Road: Letters of Love and War, 1943-1945.
