A longer, flat walk to the famous original “Emmerdale” Woolpack pub and the village of Esholt.
About this Event

About this Event

A steady, flat but slightly longer walk along the River Aire to the picturesque village of Esholt, once used as the location of Emmerdale.

We’ll stop in Esholt to look around the village and maybe sample a drink in the famous “Woolpack” pub.

We’ll return along the Leeds Liverpool Canal passing through the beautiful Field Locks.

The walk will be a slightly longer walk of around 4½ miles and around 3 hours, but we’ll be taking a break in Esholt village for a look around before our walk back to Apperley Bridge.

Come and join us and discover this great canal-side spot!
