The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.
Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!
The walk will start at the Stony Stratford Nature reserve off Queen Eleanor St and is about 4 miles long, taking in the Bucks Arm, the GU and river Ouse. There is an opportunity to stop for coffee at a cafe in Cosgrove. The towpath on the Bucks arm can be uneven and the path across the fields may be muddy. Long trousers advisable. We will be crossing the lock at Cosgrove (has handrail), walking over Iron Trunk aqueduct, and through the creeper tunnel.
This is an easy pace walk.
