Agenda
๐: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Part 1 - The Art of Money: Claim Your Value, Know Your Worth
Host: Eva Forde
Info: A shame-free money mindset reset for artists of color ready to claim their value. This workshop helps you identify and release the beliefs that keep you under-asking, over-giving, or playing small so you can own your worth, speak about your value with ease, and get paid like the value creator you are.
๐: 11:45 AM - 01:15 PM
Part 2 - Creative Prosperity: Financial Confidence for Creatives and Artists
Host: Petra-Ann Brown
Info: This financial wellness workshop is designed specifically for artists and creatives who want to gain control over their money, reduce financial stress, and make empowered decisions that support their artistic careers and personal lives.
Artists often face unique financial challenges, irregular income, project-based payments, and a lack of traditional financial support systems. This session offers real-world tools and frameworks to help creatives budget smarter, build consistent savings habits, and understand how credit and debt impact future opportunities (including funding, housing, and business growth).
๐: 01:45 PM - 03:00 PM
Part 3 - Grant Writing Basics
Host: Andre Rochester
Info: In this workshop, Andre will walk you through a grant template designed to prepare you for what to expect when writing project grants to support creative work with arts organizations. Grant writing can be intimidating, and although not all grants are created equally, it helps to have a template to build from. This workshop will cover basic information you need to know when writing your first grant proposals.
