A series of open community discussions and dialogue:
The event will introduce the community to the realities of mental health, the inequities and barriers to accessing treatment, and the resulting weight put on other systems (criminal justice, housing, etc). This series will serve community leaders, elected officials, business owners, educators, and the general public as it relates to building community. The outcome of this discussion will be greater awareness and a path forward. We will bring examples of leaders who are doing this work in surrounding areas to help Southern Indiana build an infrastructure that promotes equity for ourselves. trauma-focused
