9/11 “LET’S ROLL” Memorial Ceremony
Sponsor — Association of Vietnam Veterans of America # 862, Beaver County
Fundraiser to build a war memorial in Quay Park, Beaver for Gulf War/Desert Storm MIA/deceased veterans
We hope everyone will mark their calendars to join us at the “LET’S ROLL” RALLY at Irvine Park Gazebo in downtown Beaver, on September 11th.
The Swingin’ BopCats are part of the program that begins at 4:30PM. Note that it is listed as a Community Picnic & Rally. Attendees are requested to bring a chair and their flag. It will start with the following (by others):
National Anthem
Pledge of Allegiance
911 Poem
Placement of Flowers (with Taps performed by BopCats own, Drew Podnar)
Performances Starting about 5:00 PM by various local artists and speakers. Performance By The Swingin’ BopCats Big Band (6:00 PM – 7:30 PM) .
Again, join us Wednesday, September 11, 2024, 6pm BOPCATS Performance Time at Irvine Park gazebo, Third & Market streets, Beaver. Bring blankets/lawn chairs. Food Trucks available.
