What values guide how we collect, share, use, and fund data?

Data shapes every aspect of our lives – from the algorithms that determine what we see online to the systems that decide who gets loans, healthcare, or housing. Yet the people most affected by these data-driven decisions are rarely engaged in shaping them.
Join CSD’s Data for Social Impact initiative and the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data for a fun, interactive introduction to the Data Values Project, a global movement to make data systems more inclusive, participatory, transparent, and accountable. Using an interactive activity you can bring back to your organization or team, we will explore real-world data dilemmas, discuss different choices, and consider how those decisions affect communities and individuals.

This event offers an opportunity to connect, network, exchange ideas, and learn collaboratively. Whether you work with data regularly or are interested in its impact, you are welcome to join the discussion.
