Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own soap. Whether you have your own homestead with a few goats or just want to learn a new craft, this class will take all the scary out of soap making.
I will teach you the entire soap making process as we use the cold process method. After you leave you will have the confidence to make soap by yourself in your own home (with or without goat milk).
Each student will get to take home the 38 oz mold that we will use to make goat milk soap in class. We will use a simple, but amazing, recipe to get you started. I will also introduce you to the soap calculator. This will allow you to create your own recipes at home, in your very own kitchen.
Everyone will leave with a mold, a recipe, soap that you can cure at home and then cut into 8 bars of soap, and the knowledge to make more soap at home.
The class will be held on the farm and is limited to 6 students. After we make soap, we will go outside and visit with the goats. You must register for the class. It takes about an hour to make the soap and then extra time to visit with the goats. The cost of the class is $95.
If you have a group of 5-6 people and would like to have a private class during the week we can set up a date that works for everyone.
