Join me on the farm as I show you how to make good old fashion lye soap, just like your grandma's grandmas used to make. I will take all the scary out of working with lye as we make a no thrills no frills AMAZING bar of soap. With only olive oil, coconut oil, distilled water, and lye, you will get bars of soap to take home and cure.
I will break down the cost of the soap and show you how to you can make soap for your family at a fraction of the cost of buying it. Not only is the soap great for your skin it is great for your budget.
At the end of the class you will go with a mold, 8 full size bars of soap to cure at home, the recipe, and knowledge to make it again in your own kitchen.
The class is limited to only 6 people, and you must preregister. You will be working with Lye so you must be 18 years or older.
If you have a group of friends that would like to do private class, send me a message and we can set a date that would work for everyone.
The penny pincher class is only $45 per person! The class is about an hour long. If you cannot make it to the class because of bad weather, you may join another class at a later date.
