Let's Make it Work: Central London (SME Event)

The Central London Careers Hub is hosting the official local launch of the Careers & Enterprise Company's Let's Make it Work campaign: a national movement to transform how young people experience the world of work.

The campaign is grounded in the ambition for a work experience guarantee: ensuring every young person has access to meaningful encounters with the workplace during secondary school, through flexible formats, a few hours, a day, a project, a placement, each designed to build confidence, skills and a sense of belonging.

CEC's equalex framework sits at the heart of this; a national framework ensuring every opportunity is shaped to be fair, purposeful and inclusive, with Careers Hubs playing a central role in connecting schools and employers at a local level.

This event brings together SME business partners across Central London to hear about the campaign, understand the opportunity for employers to get involved, and add their voice to a growing national pledge; a shared statement of intent to help ensure no young person misses out on a meaningful experience of the workplace.
