Grab a friend and burn a vacation day as you head down to the farm and learn how to make goat milk soap!I will take the scary out of soap making as I teach you the entire soap making process. We will be using the cold process method.
After you leave you will have the confidence to make soap by yourself in your own home (with or without goat milk).
Each student will get a 38 oz mold that we will use to make goat milk soap. We will use a simple, but amazing, recipe to get you started. I will also introduce you to the soap calculator. This will allow you to create your own recipes at home, in your very own kitchen. Everyone will leave with a mold, a recipe and soap that you can cure at home and then cut into 8 bars of soap.
The class will be held on the farm and is limited to 6 students. After we make soap, we will go outside and visit with the goats. You must register for the class. It takes about an hour to make the soap and then extra time to visit with the goats. The cost of the class is $95.
If you have a group of 5-10 people and would like to have a private class during the week we can set up a date that works for everyone. This would be a wonderful event for co-workers during the holidays!
