Welcome to Let's Just Dance Dancing My Way to Wellness Line Dance-a-thon! We're still promoting health and wellness, and we plan on having a great time and making our 10th line danceathon the best ever!!!
Twelve (yes, you read it right) 12 hours of line dancing this year - NO brief instructionals this year- (MOSTLY R&B, Soul, Gospel, Jazz, Zydeco, and even a little Country)! You don't have to stay (or dance) the entire time. You will have a wristband so you can come, leave, and come back. Just come out and join in the fun! Note that the location will be the same as last year's; yes, this year's fun-filled event will be at Devonshire Hall, and it's behind Nutmeg State Federal Credit Union on Sanford Street. Balloons will mark the spot!
VERY lite refreshments, and dinner will be offered but you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages.
Health awareness info advocates will be available to promote/provide resources, and educate... There will also be sales vendors...
There will be raffles and more...
Tickets on sale May 1st. CashApp, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, and cash are the preferred (and fee-free) options, but you can purchase through Eventbrite as well. Last year, we sold out; don't delay! When we reach this location's capacity, that's it!
EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: $40.00 until July 31st and entry into the early bird raffle.
$50.00 after July 31st
GROUPS: At least 10 or more persons, and MUST be purchased together. EARLY BIRD group price - tickets are $35/pp . ON/AFTER August 1st, tickets are $45/pp.

Why is online ticket price a little more?
Online ticket price includes processing fee. However, we do have options so that you can purchase without incurring the processing fee.
Some of the instructors, including some out of state, will collect ticket money/names for group rate discount.
Again, it's certainly cost effective to just purchase through CashApp, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, and with cash so that you don't incur extra fees.
What does the ticket price include?
Ticket price includes entry, refreshments throughout the day, dinner, raffles.

There are several in Hamden, New Haven, and West Haven within a 5 mile radius and with different price ranges/amenities.
Here is a couple, with the distance from the venue according to MapQuest:
Brand new, newly built Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton, 700 Universal Drive, North Haven CT 06473; 5 miles - approximately 14 minutes. Block of rooms reserved under 'Dancing My Way to Wellness': breakfast included in room rate, shuttle to/from New Haven train station for slight fee (must note that it will be needed so we can plan accordingly), free shuttle withing 5 miles, 203-684-1100.
Carriage House Hotel and Conference Centre, 2297 Whitney Avenue, Hamden CT 06518; family-owned;1 mile - approximately 4 minutes .
What are my parking options?
Parking is free.
What can/can't I bring into the event?
You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages; only VERY lite refreshments and dinner will be offered.
We are NOT allowed to have confetti on the premises, just in case you intend to celebrate any special occasions, i.e. birthdays, anniversaries.

What's the refund policy?
No refunds.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
NO. We definitely will have a list of all attendees at the door, regardless of how the ticket is purchased .
Is it okay if I transfer my ticket slot to someone else?
Yes, but PLEASE let us know in advance so that we can make the change on our list!
